I have been taking great care of all my patients since I graduated dental school in 1974. I served many years treating Navy and Marine personnel in the Naval Dental Corps on the East Coast , from 1974-1978 and here, at San Diego Naval Training Center in Point Loma,1978-1981. After an Honorable Discharge, I bought the practice in Lakeside in 1984. I have had families stay with me since 1984, and I am treating their grandkids. I’m happily married since 1973 with 3 sons, all with great teeth. I’m usually doing honey do’s around the house, like a ½ bath remodel 3 months ago.
I am constantly staying up to date with many hours of continuing education, and currently participate in the CFOFS Mini Implant Residency. I am a “Top Doc“, as selected by San Diego Top Docs, and one of “America’s Top Dentists“, by The Consumers Research Council of America, among other awards. I never forget that attached to every tooth, there is a person. My goal for all of our patients, is for them to keep all their teeth for the rest of their lives, in a healthy condition. In other words, have teeth that look good, feel good, and last a long time.
I’ve been raising money for Muscular Dystrophy since 1997, when I saw my hygienist, Cindy, slowly succumb to Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and to date, have donated $35,000 . I buy Halloween Candy for $1/per pound from children who collect it, then through Operation Gratitude, ship it overseas to our troops. Last year 306 pounds! I also take free photos with Santa every Christmas for our neighbors with children who don’t want to stand in line and pay for them. Please go to YOUTUBE, and search my channel, Toothjockey50, for testimonial videos of my patients. I can tell you all the great things about being a patient at my office, but my patients say it better. Please call, or email if you have any questions. I am looking forward to meeting you and having our office be your “dental home”.
Thank you.
